Follow up
1. Month 6
We will start with internal workshops where participants will share the knowledge and skills acquired during the mobility activities. These sessions will focus on integrating digital tools and methodologies into our existing programs. In addition, we will include a short segment highlighting the relevance of digital tools in preserving Romanian cultural aspects, ensuring that our programs are culturally inclusive and resonate with our local audience.
2. Month 7
During this period, we will revise our educational curricula to include new digital teaching methods and tools learned from the mobility activities. We will incorporate specific strategies to reduce paper usage, reflecting our commitment to environmental sustainability.
3. Month 8
A pilot testing phase will be conducted to assess the effectiveness of these new methods, ensuring that they meet the learning needs of our adult learners and youth leaders.
4. Month 9-10
After refining our curricula based on feedback from the pilot phase, we will implement the updated programs across all relevant educational streams. To support this, additional training will be provided to all staff members, focused on the practical application of digital tools in everyday teaching.
5. Month 11
We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the updated programs, focusing on both qualitative and quantitative outcomes, such as digital engagement metrics and feedback from learners and educators. To make this phase specific to our organization, we will collaborate with local education bodies in Romania to benchmark our progress against national standards, ensuring that we are contributing positively to the digital education landscape in the EU.

1. “Romanian Digital Stories”, where participants share their experiences and new skills through videos and blogs
2. Bi-monthly “Innovation Breakfasts”, where team members will discuss the application of digital skills in their work, share feedback and brainstorm on how to integrate these new methods into our daily practices.
Externally:
1. “Digital Skills for Romania” campaign, which will include webinars, podcasts and digital toolkits based on the learnings from the mobility activities. These resources will be shared on EPALE and other educational platforms, focusing on the practical applications of digital skills in the Romanian cultural and educational context;
2. “Digital Heritage Festival”, where we will present projects and digital tools created by our participants.
Implementation
First Online Meeting with the Selected Participants
We organised the first online meeting with the 16 participants selected for our Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills.”
During the session, participants were introduced to the project’s main objectives, upcoming activities and overall implementation process. We also presented the two training courses included in the project: Creating Accessible Digital Educational Resources and Cybersecurity and Data Protection in Digital Education.
The meeting offered practical information about the mobility activities, preparation phase, dissemination tasks and follow-up steps, while also giving participants the opportunity to meet each other and begin building a collaborative learning community.
First Mobility Successfully Implemented in Antalya
The first mobility activity of our Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills” was successfully carried out in Antalya, Türkiye, with the participation of the first group of 8 educators from EduSparkHub.
During the training course, participants explored digital tools and methods that can support more inclusive, interactive and effective educational practices. The mobility also created valuable opportunities for international exchange, professional learning and sharing experiences with educators from other countries.
This first mobility was an important step in the implementation of the project, helping participants strengthen their digital competences and bringing new ideas, tools and inspiration for future educational activities within our organisation and local community.
Second Mobility Successfully Completed in Antalya
The second mobility activity of our Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills” was successfully completed in Antalya, Türkiye, with the participation of the second group of 8 educators from EduSparkHub.
This training focused on cybersecurity and data protection in digital education, offering participants practical knowledge on how to navigate the online environment more safely, protect personal data and promote responsible digital practices in education.
The mobility provided valuable opportunities for learning, international exchange and professional development. The knowledge gained during this course will support our future training activities and contribute to building safer and more informed educational environments.
A Shared Padlet for Resources and Ideas
As part of the project implementation, we created a shared Padlet to bring together the materials presented during our bi-monthly meetings and the ideas developed in the Innovation Breakfast sessions.
The Padlet includes digital tools, examples of educational resources, presentations shared by participants, and proposals discussed during the collaborative sessions. It serves as a practical space where participants can revisit useful content, exchange ideas and build on the knowledge gained throughout the project.
By collecting these materials in one accessible place, the Padlet supports continuity, reflection and collaboration, while also helping us turn ideas generated during the meetings into future educational activities and training offers.
Training Session Plans and Wakelet Collection for “Digital Ecological Education for a Sustainable Future”
Within the Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills,” our team developed a set of 12 training session plans for the course “Digital Ecological Education for a Sustainable Future.” This new course will further enrich EduSparkHub’s educational offer and support the integration of digital tools into sustainability education.
The session plans were designed to provide practical learning pathways that combine ecological topics with digital methods and interactive educational approaches. For each plan, the team also prepared the related presentation and the necessary digital resources to support implementation.
To organise and showcase these materials, the presentations were included in a dedicated Wakelet collection. This collection offers easy access to the training content and serves as a useful resource for learning, dissemination and future educational activities.
As a complementary result, we also developed EcoDigi, a chatbot designed to help educators identify suitable digital tools for teaching and learning activities related to environmental education. EcoDigi supports quick and practical decision-making by guiding users towards tools that match their learning goals, making the course resources even more accessible and easier to use in practice.
Through these results, the project promotes both digital competence development and environmental awareness, encouraging educators to approach sustainability education in a modern, creative and meaningful way.

Piloting the Training Sessions
As part of the project implementation, the training session plans developed for the course “Digital Ecological Education for a Sustainable Future” were piloted in different educational contexts.
The piloting phase offered the opportunity to test the relevance, clarity and practical value of the sessions, as well as the usefulness of the presentations and digital resources prepared for each plan. It also helped us observe how the proposed activities work in practice and how participants respond to the topics and tools included.
Based on the feedback received during this phase, the session plans were further improved and refined. This process helped us strengthen the quality of the course and ensure that the materials are practical, engaging and relevant for future educational use.
Wakelet Collection “Romanian Digital Stories”
As part of the project activities, we also created the Wakelet collection “Romanian Digital Stories.” This collection brings together digital materials inspired by Romanian culture, heritage, landmarks, personalities and national achievements, presented through modern and interactive tools.
The collection was designed to show how digital storytelling can make educational content more engaging, relevant and accessible. It also highlights ways in which national identity and cultural heritage can be explored through digital resources that support creativity, reflection and active learning.
By combining local content with digital methods, “Romanian Digital Stories” offers educators practical examples of how technology can be used to connect learners with meaningful cultural themes in an attractive and contemporary format.
The Digital Heritage Festival Continues with the Digital Caravan
The Digital Heritage Festival began with the Wakelet collection “Romanian Digital Stories” and continued with the Digital Caravan, a series of activities designed to bring digital learning closer to schools and local communities.
The Digital Caravan created opportunities for students, teachers and educators to explore digital tools in interactive and practical ways. The activities highlighted themes such as creativity, media literacy, sustainability and innovation, while showing how technology can support relevant and engaging learning experiences.
Together, these activities reflected the main goal of the festival: to connect digital education with cultural heritage, critical thinking and active participation, while promoting the meaningful use of digital tools in education.
Webinar on Internet Safety
As part of the Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills,” we organised the webinar “Internet Safety,” dedicated to one of the most important topics in today’s digital world.
The webinar focused on online risks such as inappropriate content, fraud, phishing, manipulation and the pressure created by the fast-paced digital environment. Participants explored practical examples, warning signs and simple strategies that can help adults and educators respond more effectively to these challenges.
The session also introduced useful resources for verification and informed discussion, as well as parental control applications and their role in supporting safer online behaviour. A key message of the webinar was that internet safety is not only about control, but also about education, communication and consistent guidance.
Through this activity, the project contributed to raising awareness of responsible and safe digital practices among educators and the wider community.
Digital Heritage Festival Organised in Partnership with CCD Satu Mare
As part of the Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills,” we organised the Digital Heritage Festival in partnership with CCD Satu Mare.
The event brought together teachers and school leaders from different educational institutions and created a valuable space for sharing digital resources, practical tools and new ideas for education. Participants explored some of the digital products developed within the project to promote elements of national heritage in engaging and accessible ways.
The programme also included the presentation of WAVE, a tool used to check the accessibility of web pages, and AhaSlides, an application for creating dynamic and interactive presentations. Another important part of the event was dedicated to media literacy, with a focus on how to identify fake news and recognise deepfakes more easily.
Through this event, the project highlighted the importance of combining digital skills, cultural awareness and critical thinking in today’s educational context.
“Digital Education for Romania”
The final event of our Erasmus+ project “Empowerment of Educators through Digital Skills” was the webinar “Digital Education for Romania.” The webinar brought together practical resources, tools and examples of how technology can be used in education in a meaningful, balanced and responsible way.
During the event, participants were introduced to the main project results, including the collections “Digital Competences for Romania” and “Digital Ecological Education for a Sustainable Future,” as well as a presentation on fake news developed to support media literacy.
The webinar also addressed the importance of using digital tools where they bring real added value to teaching and learning, as well as ways of integrating digitalisation in education without negatively affecting students’ wellbeing.
Another part of the event focused on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in education, including examples of AI models that can support teachers in planning classroom activities. Participants were also introduced to tools such as Gemini for creating digital books, NotebookLM for generating video materials, and WAVE for checking the accessibility of educational resources.
The webinar offered a practical overview of the project’s main themes and highlighted concrete ways of using digital tools to support accessible, relevant and responsible education.
